Condon making the leap sophomore year
Alex Condon is averaging 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds across 24.3 mpg through nine games (all starts) for the Gators in 2024-25. Condon was primarily a reserve last season, but he’s moved into the starting five for his sophomore year and alternates between power forward and center. He leads the undefeated Gators in rebounding while also chipping in 1.3 rejections per contest and even hitting the occasional three-pointer, which plants him firmly on the fantasy radar despite the fact Florida hasn’t played a game since Dec. 4. Take Arizona State. The Sun Devils are 8-2 straight up over their last 10 games and have covered in seven out of their last 10 games against the number. They’ve won six straight games entering play today, covering if five of those six contests. While the Gators own a 15.7 BPI rating at ESPN.com, the Sun Devils are a respectable 9.1. ASU doesn’t have Florida’s offense, but its defense should keep the final score within the number.
