Arizona State vs. Washington Pick
Can No. 25 Arizona State pick up a needed road win when the Sun Devils take on Washington tonight at 11PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at YouWager, Arizona State is the slim favorite on the road, as the Sun Devils are getting odds of -3.5 points against Washington. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 157.5 points. Tonight’s contest will take place from Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle, Washington and will air live on the Pac-12 Network.
Arizona State is coming off an 80-66 win over Colorado at home this past weekend, but the Sun Devils are just 4-5 in Pac-12 play. ASU is 16-5 overall and 11-8-2 against the spread. The Sun Devils are averaging 85.9 points per game this season while allowing 74.6 per contest. Tra Holder is averaging 19.3 points per game to lead the Sun Devils while Shannon Evans II is adding 16.7 points and 4.2 assists per game.
Washington is coming off an 80-62 win over Washington State at home this weekend for its second straight victory. The Huskies are now 15-6 overall, 5-3 in the Pac-12 and 9-9-1 against the spread. Washington is averaging 76.3 points per game this season while allowing 72.8 per contest. Jaylen Nowell is leading Washington with 16.7 points per game while Noah Dickerson is adding 14.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per contest.
Bet on Arizona State vs. Washington
Arizona State has won and covered in two straight meetings with Washington, but the two have yet to meet this season. The Sun Devils looked liked world beaters before entering the Pac-12 and have struggled since. They are just 1-6-2 ATS in the Pac-12. That one cover was their last game at home against Colorado. While that could lead to something good going forward, I still can’t trust ASU as a road favorite when they have yet to cover on the road in conference play. Washington is 4-1-1 ATS in its last six games. The public betting is backing is heavily with Washington and I will take the Huskies at home as well.
