How Miller plays will go a long way toward deciding this game on Saturday.

Over the past week or so, it was revealed that Alabama’s Brandon Miller allegedly brought the gun that was used in a January 15th murder that involved former Alabama player Darius Miles Jr. It is alleged that Miller did not touch the gun, nor did he have any foreknowledge that the gun was going to be used to commit a crime. Because of that, Miller hasn’t been charged with a crime, and it appears unlikely that he will be. The entire situation has been a major distraction for an Alabama team that seemed poised to get a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and make a deep run once they got there. Miller had a career night on Wednesday (right after the news of his alleged involvement broke), pouring in 41 points in a 78-76 Alabama win over South Carolina. The Crimson tide were 17-point favorites and needed overtime to narrowly escape a terrible loss to the Gamecocks. I think Alabama will struggle again on Saturday, as Arkansas is a much better team than South Carolina. I think the Razorbacks do enough to keep it close as Alabama may have other things on their mind.
