Arkansas vs. Kentucky Public Betting: Bettors Taking Points

Our CBB Public Betting Information page indicates that 61% of public bettors are currently backing Kentucky when it comes to the spread. This information is subject to change throughout the day, however, so be sure to check the link so you’re receiving the most up-to-date public betting data.

Davis struggles in Hogs’ starting lineup

Johnell Davis ended Wednesday’s 68-65 win over Georgia with nine points (3-14 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and three steals in 36 minutes. Davis hadn’t started a game since Dec. 14, but with Boogie Fland out for the season in a crushing blow for the Razorbacks, Davis will take over at point guard. He was abysmal as a shooter in the win over Georgia, but Arkansas still managed to log its first conference victory of the season. Davis averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists over the 11 games he started earlier in the season.

Butler not available again for Kentucky

Lamont Butler (undisclosed) won’t be available for Kentucky’s clash with Arkansas. Butler will now miss his second straight game. The starting point guard’s absence didn’t prevent the Wildcats from besting Tennessee in their last outing, but they’ll have to make do with him again on Saturday. Butler averages 13.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals.

Arkansas vs. Kentucky CBB Prediction:

I’m laying the points. I know this feels like a high number, especially with a banged-up Kentucky team. That said, the Razorbacks are just 5-14-1 against the spread in their lined games this season. That includes a 2-8 ATS record over their last 10 games. On the other side, the Wildcats are coming off a 78-73 win over Tennessee as a 10.5-point dog in Knoxville earlier this season. They’re also 7-3 in their last 10 games straight up versus Arkansas and have covered in two out of their last three games versus the Razorbacks.

Arkansas vs. Kentucky Hoops Prediction: KENTUCKY WILDCATS -10
