Auburn vs. Ole Miss CBB Prediction:
Auburn has been the best team in the country all season. The Tigers are 19-1 straight up overall and 7-0 straight up in conference play this season. Auburn is ranked #2 nationally in adjusted efficiency margin this year according to Kenpom.com, and the Tigers are fourth in the nation with an average scoring margin of +18.4 points per game this year.
Auburn is 11-8-1 against the spread overall this season, but a few relevant numbers bolster their case for Saturday’s contest. The Tigers are 9-8-1 ATS after a win and 6-3-1 ATS when playing on 2 or 3 days of rest this season. I have a hard time seeing how Ole Miss will score enough to hang with Auburn this weekend. For that reason, among others, I’m taking the Tigers on the road in Oxford on Saturday.
