Auburn vs. Tennessee CBB Prediction:
This line is a little curious to me. Auburn is coming off a 21-point win over Georgia on Wednesday night, and Tennessee is coming off a 13-point loss against Florida on Wednesday. Both of these teams are ranked, and hold 7-2 records in SEC play. They’re both ranked in the top 26 nationally in adjusted efficiency margin on Kenpom.com and the top 24 in the country in defensive efficiency. The Volunteers are second in the country with an average scoring margin of +18.4 points per game, so there will always be some risk when taking the underdog against them. But I think the oddsmakers set this line too high because Tennessee is covering the spread 59.1% of the time. I think that number takes a hit on Saturday as Auburn covers the number in Knoxville.
