According to oddsmakers at RealBets, Michigan State is favored at home today, as the Spartans are getting odds of -7 points against Indiana. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 151.5 points.
Michigan State (20-5) has had all five of its losses come in conference play, which puts it three games behind Indiana (20-5) in the Big Ten standings, as the Hoosiers are tied with Iowa for first at 10-2. However, the Spartans are at home and coming off a loss at Purdue on Thursday. Since 2013, Michigan State is 16-7 against the spread following a loss and the Spartans are 7-4 ATS at home this season.
The Hoosiers are coming off an 85-78 win over Iowa at home this week, but the Hoosiers are just 9-10 against the spread after a win this season. They are also just 2-5 against the spread on the road. Indiana has also struggled against Michigan State in recent history, as the Spartans have won four straight in this series, going 3-1 against the spread this season.
