Boise State Broncos
The Broncos took down the top seeded New Mexico Lobos on Friday 72-69 to advance to the championship game. Tyson Degenhart led the team with 22 points, making 8 of his 14 shot attempts. Emmanuel Ugbo gave a big boost off the bench with 17 points. Andrew Meadow also added 16 points. Boise State defeated San Diego State 62-52 on Thursday night in the quarterfinals.
Colorado State Rams
The Rams won their 9th straight game on Friday night with a 83-72 victory over Utah State. Nique Clifford led Colorado State with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists on the night. Jalen Lake and Kyan Evans each contributed 14 points. The Rams finished 59.5% shooting from the field and 55.6% from behind the arc. The free throw line gave them some troubles as they were 62% on the night. Colorado State held a 49-30 half time lead so they did allow the Aggies to get back in the game. On Thursday night, the Rams defeated Nevada 67-59 in the quarterfinals.

Boise State vs. Colorado State Prediction:
I’m going to roll with the Rams in this matchup on Saturday night. Colorado State is red hot winning and covering in each of their last 9 games. They have already beat the Broncos twice this season, including an 83-73 win in Boise. The Rams let off the gas a bit in the 2nd half against the Aggies on Friday night but they finished the game strong with a double digit victory. I’m a little concerned about tired legs given the late ending to last night’s matchup and the early start for the championship but I think the Rams pull it off.
Boise State vs. Colorado State Prediction: Colorado State +1.5
