Boston secured a 64-61 win Sunday over Bucknell in the semifinals of the Patriot League Tournament to improve to 20-13 on the season. The Terriers led 35-22 at halftime and held off a rally attempt by the Bison after break. Max Mahoney led Boston with 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting plus 5-of-8 at the free throw line. He also notched 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals. Walter Whyte accounted for 16 points, 10 boards and two blocked shots. Javante McCoy added 12 points, eight dimes and two rebounds.
Raiders crush Leopards
Colgate rolled to an 89-64 win over Lafayette Sunday in the semifinals of the Patriot League Tournament to move to 25-8 on the season. The Raiders led 47-27 at halftime on their way to the win. Jordan Burns led Colgate with 17 points on 6-of-20 shooting including 1-of-8 from 3-point range plus 4-of-5 at the free throw line. He also tallied four rebounds and four assists. Will Rayman accounted for 16 points, 11 boards and two blocked shots. Jack Ferguson had 13 points and four caroms off the bench. Rapolas Ivanauskas contributed 12 points, five rebounds and three dimes. Nelly Cummings accounted for 11 points in 28 minutes of action. Keegan Records added 10 points and eight boards as a reserve.

Prediction:
The Raiders defeated the Terriers by nine at home and 16 on the road, but this seems like one of those situations where the third time is a lot more difficult. The dreams of playing in the NCAA Tournament are on the line for Boston too and its only two losses in its last seven games have been a pair of road games by two points each including one in overtime. I’d rather take the points tonight.
