According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Buddy Hield and Oklahoma is currently a 4.5-point road favorite versus Ben Simmons and the Tigers. The total, meanwhile, currently sits at 164.5 points for today’s game.

Why Bet LSU…

Because the Tigers desperately need a resume-boosting victory. LSU is currently a fringe tournament team but knocking off the No. 1 team in the nation would go a long way to securing a spot in the NCAA tourney this March. The Tigers have won four of their last five games and are due to cover after going 0-6 ATS in their last six games overall.

Oklahoma has the advantage in points per game, field goal percentage, free throw percentage, defense and rebounding. The Sooners also have a deeper, more talented roster and if they can hold Simmons in check then this could wind up being a blowout.

That said, this has been a highly anticipated matchup between Hield and Simmons and the crowd at Pete Maravich Assembly Center will be raucous. Look for the Tigers to play the Sooners close.
