Rudi Williams closed with 21 points (3-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 15-16 FT), one rebound, seven assists and one block across 29 minutes during Saturday’s 87-61 win over San Francisco. Williams finished February having averaged 14.0 points across BYU’s seven games. Though the guard was rewarded with a Senior Day start that is unlikely to translate into tournament play, suggesting he will be benched, fantasy managers should expect his scoring to be valuable regardless of role.
Saint Mary’s Gaels DFS Spin
Logan Johnson logged 31 points (12-20 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), five rebounds, two steals and one assist across 43 minutes during the Gaels’ 78-74 loss Thursday at Loyola Marymount. Johnson’s latest log is his first to have more than 30 points. He averaged 17.6 of them across seven games the Gaels played in between Jan. 13 and Feb. 10. Surprisingly yet impressively, Johnson was a better scorer when they did not host. He averaged 21.5 points across four games. Fantasy managers should not be surprised if Johnson is an excellent scorer again during the Gaels’ next matchups, currently scheduled at Portland (on Saturday) and San Diego (next Thursday).
