Virginia vs. Boston College Pick

Will No. 16 Virginia handle its business on the road when it travels to face Boston College tonight at 8PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Virginia is the clear favorite on the road today, as the Cavaliers are getting odds of -14.5 points against Boston College. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 130.5 points. Virginia has won three straight over Boston College, but the Eagles are 5-2 against the spread in the last seven in this series.

Bet on Virginia vs. Boston College

Virginia has won two straight since losing back-to-back games to FSU and Pitt. The Cavaliers are now 13-3 overall and 3-2 in the ACC. On the road, the Cavaliers are giving up 63.4 points per game. London Perrantes is averaging 12.1 points and 4.1 assists to lead this team. He is the only player averaging double figures in scoring.

I typically like Virginia. The Cavaliers are a team that know their identity and force opponents to play their style. However, that identity is a low-scoring team that relies on defense mostly to win. So, I am not overly excited about giving up 14.5 points to anybody with them, especially on the road. BC isn’t a great overall team, but the Eagles have been competitive in ACC play for the most part, winning both of their home conference games despite being an underdog. Look for BC to do enough to cover tonight.
