West Virginia vs. Oklahoma Pick

Will Oklahoma find a way to put up a fight at home when it hosts No. 13 West Virginia tonight at 9PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, West Virginia is favored on the road, as the Mountaineers are getting odds of -7.5 points against the Sooners. The over/under total for the game is listed at 155.5 points. Oklahoma won the first meeting this season at WVU, 89-87 in OT. The Sooners have won four of the last five against the Mountaineers.

Bet on West Virginia vs. Oklahoma

Oklahoma has lost five straight since the win over West Virginia. The Sooners are now 8-14 overall and 2-8 in the Big 12. Oklahoma has failed to cover in four of these five losses and are now 9-10-1 against the spread. Oklahoma averages 75.1 points per game on offense while allowing 75.5 on defense. Jordan Woodard is averaging 15.4 points per game to lead the team while Kameron McGusty and Rashard Odomes each put up 10 points per contest.

West Virginia is coming off an 82-75 loss at home to Oklahoma State. The Mountaineers are now 18-5 overall and 6-4 in the Big 12. WVU has been struggling at the betting window lately as well, going 3-7 against the spread in their last 10. They are now 9-9 ATS on the season. WVU has a great offense that averages 87.1 points per game, while the defense is holding opponents to 66.5 per game. Jevon Carter and Esa Ahmad each average 11.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game to lead the team while Nathan Adrian is adding 10.9 points per game.

While WVU has a great offense, the Mountaineers are not so great on the road, averaging nearly 10 points less per game while allowing 72 on defense. Oklahoma has been a mess since beating WVU, but three losses have been by 5 points or less and another was by 7. I think the Sooners will play up at home and keep this game competitive.
