MSU favored at Michigan
No. 10 Michigan State isn’t bothered by being a road favorite as it heads to rival Michigan today for a 2PM ET meeting on CBS.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Michigan State is favored on the road this afternoon, as the Spartans are getting odds of -3.5 points against the Wolverines. The over/under total for the game has been set at 146.5.
Big Ten play hasn’t gone exactly as Michigan State (19-4) planned, as the Spartans are just 6-4 in the conference with two big losses to Iowa and one-point losses to Wisconsin and Nebraska. However, MSU is building steam, winning three straight coming into today’s game with Michigan (17-6). The Wolverines are 7-3 in the Big Ten but dealing with a lingering injury to star Caris LeVert. Michigan is also coming off an 80-67 loss at home to Indiana this week, with the game not being as close as the score indicates.
Michigan State finds itself in a familiar position of being a road favorite today. Since 2012, the Spartans have been favored on the road 24 times and they have an impressive mark of 16-7-1 against the spread in those games. They have the most covers as a road favorite in the Big Ten since that span. Conversely, Michigan comes into today’s contest just 8-11 against the spread since 2014 when coming off a loss.
