Maryland seeks revenge vs. Michigan

No. 6 Maryland looks to bounce back after a bad loss on the road when it hosts Michigan today at 1PM ET on CBS.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Maryland is the clear favorite this afternoon, as the Terrapins are getting odds of -9 points against the Wolverines. The over/under total for the game has been set at 140 points.

Maryland (22-5, 10-4 Big Ten) finds itself 1.5 games behind Indiana for first in the conference thanks to a disappointing loss at Minnesota this week for the Gophers’ first conference win of the season. However, the Terps have bounced back well this season, going 3-1 against the spread following a loss. They will also have revenge on their minds from a 70-67 loss at Michigan back on Jan. 12.

The Wolverines (19-8, 9-5 Big Ten) are still in the Big Ten race, but have little room for error. Michigan is coming off a 76-66 loss at Ohio State this week and they are just 2-3 in their last five straight up and 3-7 ATS in their last 10. The home team has won and covered in both Big Ten meetings between these two over the last two seasons and Michigan is averaging 5 points less per game on the road while Maryland is giving up just 62.4 points per game at home.
