One of three top-25 teams on the docket Thursday comes out of the Big Ten Conference as 10th-ranked Wisconsin (22-6) travels to Indiana 12-17) for a 9:00PM EST start. Oddsmakers and online sports book Sportsbook.com have determined Wisconsin is 6-point favorites in the matchup.
According to the latest trends, Wisconsin is 4-1 against the spread versus Indiana over the last three seasons. Wisconsin is 5-0 straight up against Indiana over the last three seasons, while four of the last five games in the series have gone over the total.
Indiana is 12-5 in home contests this season, while Wisconsin is just 4-5 in true road games. Wisconsin has won three in a row including Sunday’s 78-63 home victory against Northwestern. Indiana is on a six-game slide, the last loss being an 82-61 defeat Sunday at Ohio State.
Jon Leuer paces Wisconsin at 19.3 points per game and Jordan Taylor complements him at 17.3 ppg. Christian Watford paces Indiana as he averages 16.5 points per game.
Elsewhere in college basketball, St. John’s is now ranked 15th and will travel to St. John’s for a 7:00PM EST contest. St. John’s is a 2.5-point favorite. In Pac-10 action, Arizona is home against Oregon State at 9:00PM EST. Arizona is a 15-point favorite.
