Central Florida vs. Cincinnati Pick
Will No. 6 Cincinnati keep rolling along in the AAC when the Bearcats host Central Florida tonight at 7PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at YouWager, Cincinnati is favored at home, as the Bearcats are getting odds of -14.5 points against UCF. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 122.5 points. Tonight’s game takes place from BB&T Arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky and will air live on the CBS Sports Network.
Cincinnati is off to a perfect 10-0 record in the AAC following a 65-57 win at Connecticut last weekend. The Bearcats are now 21-2 overall and 11-8-1 against the spread. Cincy is averaging 76.5 points per game on offense while allowing just 56.8 per contest. Jacob Evans is putting up 14.1 points per game to lead the team while Gary Clark is adding 13 points and 9 rebounds per contest.
Central Florida is coming off a 65-59 loss at home to Houston for its fourth loss in six games. The Knights are 14-8 overall, 5-5 in the AAC and 10-7 against the spread. UCF is putting up just 63.9 points per game on offense while allowing 60.6 per contest. B.J. Taylor is leading the team with 15 points and 3.5 assists per game while Tacko Fall adds 11.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Fall is out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, leaving the Knights somewhat shorthanded.
Cincinnati has won nine of the last 10 meetings with UCF, including a 49-38 road win back on Jan. 16. The Bearcats are also 7-3 against the spread in the 10 meetings. Cincinnati has been dominant lately, going 6-3-1 ATS in their last 10 and 3-1 ATS in their last four. Cincy has covered in four of its last five at home as well. Their failed cover was still a 26-point win. UCF doesn’t have much offensive talent to compete against this Bearcat defense. The public betting is backing Cincinnati tonight and I agree with them.
