College Basketball Predictions: Notre Dame vs. LSU 11/21/17

Notre Dame vs. LSU Pick

Will No. 13 Notre Dame be able to roll to another win when it faces LSU tonight at 10:30PM ET in the Maui Invitational.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Notre Dame is favored in this game, as the Fighting Irish are getting odds of -8 points against LSU. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 158 points. Tonight’s game takes place from the Lahaina Civic Center in Maui, Hawaii and will air live on ESPN.

Notre Dame is coming off an 83-56 win over Chaminade last night to improve to 4-0 on the season. The Fighting Irish are 1-1 against the spread, failing to cover in last night’s game. ND is scoring 88.3 points per game this season while allowing just 62 points per contest. Bonzie Colson is leading the team with 20.8 points, 10.3 rebounds and 3 blocks per contest. Matt Farrell is adding 18.3 points and 3.8 assists per game.

LSU is coming off a 77-75 win over Michigan last night as a 5.5-point underdog. The Tigers are 3-0 on the season and 2-0 against the spread. LSU is putting up 93.7 points per game on offense while allowing 73.3 per game. The Tigers are being led by Tremont Waters, who is putting up 17.7 points and 6 assists per game while Brandon Sampson is adding 13.3 points and 5 rebounds per game.

Bet on Notre Dame vs. LSU

These two have no recent meetings to consider for tonight’s game. LSU picked up a nice win over Michigan, but I don’t think the Tigers can get past Notre Dame. LSU is just 1-5 against the spread in its last 6 against ACC opponents. They are also 8-22-1 in their last 31 games following a win. Notre Dame is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 against SEC opponents. The public betting is siding with Notre Dame in this one and I agree with them.
