Can No. 5 Arizona State keep rolling along when the Sun Devils play host to Vanderbilt today at 2PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Arizona State is the clear favorite today, as the Sun Devils are getting odds of -11 points against Vanderbilt. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 154.5 points. Today’s game takes place from Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe, Arizona and will air live on the Pac-12 Network.
Arizona State is coming off a 95-85 win at Kansas last weekend to improve to 9-0 on the season. The Sun Devils are 8-1 against the spread, covering in their last eight games. ASU is averaging 91.8 points per game on offense while allowing 74.4 per game. Vanderbilt is coming off a 66-63 loss to Middle Tennessee to fall to 3-6 on the season. The Commodores are amazingly 0-8 against the spread this season and 0-3 ATS as an underdog. Vandy is averaging 68.7 points per game on offense this season while allowing 71.6 per game on defense. Bet on Vanderbilt vs. Arizona State
Arizona State won the last meeting with Vanderbilt back in 2004, 87-68. I expect another lopsided win today. The Sun Devils have been rolling and are putting up big offensive numbers. Vanderbilt doesn’t have the offense to keep up. The Commodores haven’t been able to score consistently and I don’t expect that to change on the road. The public betting is heavily behind Arizona State and I am with them.
