College Basketball Predictions: Will Colorado cover at Arizona? 1/25/18

Colorado vs. Arizona Pick

Is No. 11 Arizona ready to pick up a lopsided win at home tonight when the Wildcats host Colorado at 8:30PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Arizona is the clear favorite at home tonight, as the Wildcats are getting odds of -14 points against Colorado. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 145.5 points. Tonight’s game is set to take place from McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona and will air live on FS1.

Colorado is coming off a 72-62 loss at home to Washington, but the Buffs have won four of their last six. Colorado is now 12-8 overall, 4-4 in the Pac-12 and 9-10-1 against the spread. The Buffaloes are averaging 74 points per game this season while allowing 73.2 per game. Colorado has struggled to score on the road, averaging just 62.8 per game. McKinley Wright IV is leading the Buffaloes with 14.9 points and 5.3 assists per game while George King is adding 14.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per contest.

Arizona is riding a four-game winning streak since an 80-77 loss at Colorado on Jan. 6. The Wildcats are 16-4 overall, 6-1 in the Pac-12 and 7-11-2 against the spread. Arizona is averaging 82.2 points per game this season while allowing 71.4 per contest. Allonzo Trier is leading Zona with 19.8 points per game while Deandre Ayton is adding 19.7 points and 11.1 rebounds per contest.

Bet on Colorado vs. Arizona

Despite the loss earlier this season, Arizona has won eight of its last 10 meetings with Colorado. However, the Buffaloes have covered in four of their last five against the Wildcats. While Arizona has been winning regularly as of late, the Wildcats are not covering. They are just 1-4 ATS in their last five. They were a 9-point road favorite against Colorado and lost by three. The Buffaloes haven’t covered well on the road, but They have been competitive in recent weeks, covering in four of their last six. Their two losses were by an average of 11 points. The public betting is split for this game and it’s a tough call, but I am going to side with Colorado getting 14 points.
