LOS ANGELES, CA (ATS Consultants) – San Diego is nearly a double-digit road dog tonight when it takes on UCLA at 7:00PM ET but the Toreros have been tough coming off losses.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, UCLA is a 9.5-point home favorite tonight versus San Diego while the over/under total is currently sitting at 145.5 points. The Bruins opened as an 11.5-point home favorite but the line has dipped below  the key number of 10 and is now sitting at 9.5 at most books.

The Toreros might be a heavy dog but they’re also a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four games following a straight up loss. They’re also 6-2 at the betting window in their last eight games versus Pac-12 opponents and 15-7-1 against the spread in their last 23 games versus a team with a winning percentage above .600.

On the other side, the Bruins are only 1-5 against the spread in their last six games versus West Coast opponents. UCLA has a clear edge in points per game, rebounding and turnovers, but field goal percentage, free throw percentage, defense and bench swing in favor of San Diego. We all saw what happened to No. 17 Michigan on Saturday when it looked past N.J.I.T. – a 71-67 loss in Ann Arbor. Another big upset might not be on the docket today but we like San Diego to at least cover.
