LAWRENCE, Kan – Sherron Collins scored 22 points and Cole Aldrich had 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 24 Kansas to a 103-58 exhibition victory over Emporia State on Tuesday night.

Aldrich and Collins, the only remaining Jayhawks who played in the national championship overtime victory over Memphis in April, combined for 31 points in the first half.
After Collins missed his first shot, he hit his next six and had 17 points by halftime, while Aldrich had 14 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. They both played only four minutes the second half as coach Bill Self cleared the bench.
Emporia State, a Division II team, trailed 22-18 with 11:28 left in the half, but went 6:47 without a field goal. Kansas went on a 19-1 run to take a 41-19 lead. The Jayhawks shot 80 percent from the field the first half and led 56-30.

Jeremiah Box and Alex Pyle both had 13 points for the Hornets, who lost 71-58 on Monday night at Wichita State.
The Jayhawks have won 33 straight exhibition games dating to a Dec. 28, 1995 loss in France, and are 19-0 in exhibitions under Self. Kansas improved to 17-3 against Emporia State with its last loss to the Hornets on Dec. 13, 1947, at Emporia.
