Bynum missed four games in January with an abdominal injury, and coach Ed Cooley has been conservative with his usage since his return. Saturday marked his first start since Jan. 4, and while the senior had a rough shooting day, he did record a season-high 10 assists. Bynum leads the Friars with 4.6 assists per contest, which currently represents the strongest mark of his four-year collegiate career.
