Ryan Kalkbrenner notched 22 points (9-12 FG, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one block across 34 minutes during Friday’s 86-75 win over Princeton. The center led the Bluejays in scoring with 22 points in Friday’s Sweet 16 win over Princeton. No one could find an answer for the 7-foot-1 big man and he is now averaging 21 points per game this tournament. Expect Kalkbrenner to continue to dominate down low as Creighton will take on San Diego State on Sunday.

San Diego State is also 7-3 at the betting window in its last 10 NCAA tournament games, is 5-0 against the number in its last five games coming off a win and has cashed in all four of its last four games following an ATS victory. The Aztecs will get knocked for being in the Mountain West and not having the most efficient offense, but that offense has been good enough to get them to this point and I see at least one more upset in SDS’ near future.
