Blue Devils vs. Fighting Irish Prediction
The second-ranked Duke Blue Devils have played at a fast pace all season while being efficient on both ends this season. Will the total stay under tonight when they travel to play a Notre Dame Fighting Irish team that prefers to play at a slow pace?

Blue Devils use big second half in win
Duke trailed 29-27 at halftime Saturday before putting it all together in the second half to secure a 66-53 home win over Georgia Tech. The Blue Devils (17-2, 6-1 ACC) shot 24-of-58 from the floor, 2-of-21 from 3-point distance and 16-of-19 from the free throw line. R.J. Barrett paced Duke with 24 points on 8-of-16 shooting including 1-of-5 from 3-point range plus 7-of-8 from the charity stripe. He also contributed 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals. Zion Williamson added 22 points, seven boards, three blocked shots and two steals.
Irish drop fourth straight
Notre Dame struggled at home Saturday as it lost 82-55 to third-ranked Virginia to drop to 11-9 overall and 1-6 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. John Mooney paced the Fighting Irish with 15 points on 6-of-15 shooting including 3-of-4 from 3-point distance. He also pulled down 10 rebounds. Notre Dame trailed 42-25 at halftime en route to the defeat. The Fighting Irish shot 22-of-61 from the floor, 8-of-29 from 3-point range and 3-of-8 from the free throw line.
College Basketball Betting Trends
Duke
The under is 12-4-2 in the last 18 Blue Devils games overall. The over is 6-2 in the last eight Duke games on Mondays.
Notre Dame
The under is 4-1 in the last five Fighting Irish game overall. The over is 6-1 in the last seven Notre Dame games on Mondays.
Prediction:
The Blue Devils play at the 15th-fastest pace nationally, while Notre Dame is only 293rd in pace of play. The Fighting Irish are actually better on offense than defense, but even so they have only scored 70 or more points in one of their last eight games. While Duke will probably rebound from Saturday’s uneven offensive performance, I don’t think Notre Dame will do enough on offense to allow this total to go over.
