Duke struggling at the betting window
Once profitable for bettors, Duke is now struggling at the betting window and will visit N.C. State as a road favorite today at 2:00PM ET on CBS.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Blue Devils are 5-point road favorites versus the Wolfpack after opening at -4.5. The over/under, meanwhile, is sitting at 152 points after opening at that same number.
It wasn’t that long ago that Duke was killing it at the betting window, going 5-1-1 against the spread in a seven-game stretch from December 15 to January 9 this season. But since covering as an 18-point home favorite versus Virginia Tech, the Blue Devils have now lost three in a row, failing to cover as a 7.5-point favorite (at Clemson), an 8.5-point favorite (vs. Notre Dame), and as an 11.5-point favorite (vs. Syracuse).
N.C. State hasn’t been a profitable team for bettors this season (8-8 ATS), but is coming off back-to-back covers. The Wolfpack fell at North Carolina 67-55 but covered as a 15.5-point underdog and then beat Pittsburgh 78-61 outright as a 9-point road favorite on Tuesday night.
The home team is 5-1 against the spread in the last six meetings between these two teams, while Duke is just 1-4 ATS in its last five road games versus N.C. State.
