ESPN College Basketball Picks & Predictions: North Carolina vs. Louisville

UNC vs. Louisville Pick

It’s Big Monday in the ACC as No. 16 Louisville hosts No. 2 North Carolina tonight at 7PM ET on ESPN. Who will come out on top?

View Tonight’s College Basketball Odds

According to oddsmakers from oddsmakers at BetDSI, Louisville is the favorite at home, but not by much. The Cardinals are getting odds of -1 point against the Tar Heels. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 148.5 points.

North Carolina is 19-2 on the season, 8-0 in the ACC, 3-2 on the road and 9-11-1 against the spread. Louisville is 17-4 overall, 6-2 in the ACC, 13-1 at home and 8-9 against the spread. These two are meeting for the first time this season, but UNC has covered the spread in three of the last five meetings in this series, winning four of the five games outright.

North Carolina has the most complete team in the country. They’ve won 12 straight games and had an easy win over Boston College on Saturday, while Louisville lost to Virginia at home, 63-47. While Louisville should play better, UNC has too much size, depth and quality guard play to roll over. They offer a much different tempo than Virginia, who plays more of a half-court game.
