Forbes gets waiver for MSU
EAST LANSING, MI (TheSpread) – Michigan State is getting some help for this upcoming season thanks to an NCAA decision on Wednesday.
The Spartans learned that junior transfer Bryn Forbes will not have to sit out this season after transferring from Cleveland State and will be allowed to contribute to the Spartans right away.
The news is welcomed by MSU, which has a lot of roster turnover from last season and in need of some help in the scoring department. Last season at Cleveland State, Forbes averaged 15.6 points per game and 2.5 3-point field goals per contest.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Michigan State has been given 33/1 odds to win the NCAA Tournament next season. Oddsmakers see Kentucky as the favorite with 4/1 odds while Arizona now comes in with 9/1 odds.
