Gonzaga announced Goodson’s decision on Tuesday night. Goodson, who would have been a senior, started all 35 games last season. His most memorable moment came in the 2009 NCAA tournament when Goodson scored on a length-of-the-court drive with .9 seconds left to beat Western Kentucky in the second round.
Goodson averaged 5.2 points and 2.6 assists last season.
Goodson could have two years of football eligibility remaining.
