Harvard vs. Kentucky Pick

Will No. 7 Kentucky make quick work of Harvard when these two meet up later today at 3:30PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kentucky is favored at home, as the Wildcats are getting odds of -21.5 points against Harvard. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 143.5 points. Today’s game takes place from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky and will air live on ESPN.

Kentucky is coming off a 107-73 win over Illinois-Chicago last weekend to improve to 6-1 on the season. The Wildcats are 3-4 against the spread, failing to cover in four home games. Kentucky is putting up 78.3 points per game this season while allowing 65.7 per contest. Kevin Knox is leading the team with 16.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while Hamidou Diallo is adding 12.9 points per contest.

Harvard is coming off a 77-61 loss to Northeastern on Thursday to fall to 3-5 on the season. The Crimson are 1-5 against the spread, going 0-3 ATS on the road. Harvard is averaging just 68.3 points per game on offense while giving up 74.3 points per contest on defense. Bryce Aiken is leading the team with 19 points and 3.6 assists per game while Chris Lewis is adding 13.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest.

Bet on Harvard vs. Kentucky

These two have no recent meetings to consider today. Harvard is 1-4 against the spread in its last five road games and 1-7 ATS in its last 8 games overall. Kentucky is 10-4 against the spread in its last 14 home games against a team with a losing record. The Wildcats have too much talent for Harvard to contend with. While the Wildcats have been shaky, as they are a young team. I don’t think they are going to struggle with the Crimson. The public betting is siding with Kentucky today and I like the Wildcats as well.
