Patrick McCaffery is taking an indefinite leave of absence from the team to address his anxiety, the team announced Tuesday. McCaffery said in his statement that his anxiety has affected his sleep, appetite, and stamina. His performance has suffered recently with a notable drop-off in production in the last two games (4.0 PPG, 2.5 RPG) compared to the three prior to that (18.7 PPG, 9.3 RPG). McCaffery said that he will be away from the team as long as he need in order to get his anxiety under control. His brother Connor McCaffery is the most likely player to take over his starting spot.
