Adama Sanogo posted 19 points (8-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist over 30 minutes during Friday’s 70-68 loss to Marquette. Sanogo capitalized on his size to deliver a big scoring night, as well as impactful two-way rebounding. He hampered Marquette’s forwards with foul trouble, but he was ultimately unable to deliver a final blow. Friday marked his first double-double since Feb. 11, and continued strong play from Sanogo is critical to UConn’s postseason hopes.
