Iowa State Cyclones DFS Spin
Aljaz Kunc recorded 22 points (7-10 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, one block and two steals over 31 minutes during Wednesday’s 70-59 victory over TCU. Kunc logged a new season high for points during his first game back in the starting lineup since mid-December. The 6-foot-8 senior averaged 8.5 points and 5.9 rebounds while starting the first 11 games of the season. He then missed 10 games in a row with a finger injury before coming off the bench for three contests. Kunc has now scored three, 13 and 22 points while playing 22, 23 and 31 minutes during the last three games, respectively. This steady increase in playing time and production should give Kunc a solid base to build off of over the Cyclones’ final five regular-season games.
Kansas State Wildcats DFS Spin
Keyontae Johnson totaled 14 points (6-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT), four rebounds, three assists and three steals across 39 minutes during Tuesday’s 79-65 loss to Oklahoma. Johnson finished with a slightly below-average outing by his standards this season, logging fewer than five boards for the fifth time this season while also scoring below his season average for the fourth game in a row. The 6-foot-6 senior has been one of the Big 12’s best fantasy players this season with 17.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. However, he’s now averaged just 13.3 points and 5.5 boards across the last four contests. Johnson will look to regain his massively productive form during Saturday’s home game against a defensive-minded Iowa State squad.
