According to oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu, the Jayhawks are now 4.5-point home favorites versus the Wildcats after the line opened at 5. As for the total, the number opened at 146.5 and that’s where it currently sits.

Kentucky enters play tonight with a 16-4 record but its just 9-11 against the spread, while Kansas is also 16-4 and 10-8 at the betting window. The Wildcats are also 2-3 against the number in their five lined road games, while the Jayhawks are 4-4 ATS in their eight lined home games.

The favorite, the home team, and the under have all cashed in recent meetings between these two teams. The favorite is a perfect 5-0 against the spread in the last five meetings overall, as is the home team. The under, meanwhile, has hit in five of the last six meetings.

But Kentucky is hot. Its won all three games since its shocking loss to Auburn on January 16, covering as a 2.5-point, 6.5-point, and 19.5-point favorite versus Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Missouri, respectively. In those three games, the Wildcats limited their opponents to 59.0 points per game.

Coversely, the Jayhawks couldn’t be colder at the betting window. They’ve failed to cover in five straight games, including twice at home over their last four games. Despite burning their backers of late, 59% of betting tickets are on Kansas to cover the spread tonight.
