After a regular season that saw Kansas struggle to cover, the Jayhawks have been an absolute juggernaut in the NCAA Tournament. Kansas has beaten UC Davis, Michigan State and Purdue all by at least 20 and by an average of 30 points. The Jayhawks are now 31-4 overall while going 14-18-1 against the spread. Kansas is averaging 83.9 points per game on offense this season while giving up just 71.8 on defense. Frank Mason III is averaging 20.9 points and 5.2 assists to lead the Jayhawks while Josh Jackson is adding 16.5points and 7.2 rebounds per game.

Oregon has continued to win despite some injury issues. The Ducks are coming off a 69-68 win over Michigan on Thursday night. The Ducks are now 32-5 on the season while going 20-15-1 against the spread. Oregon is averaging 78.7 points per game on offense this season while allowing just 65.9 per game on defense. The team has been without Chris Boucher since the start of the NCAA Tournament. He averaged 11.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Dillon Brooks has stepped up in his absence with 16.3 points per game while Jordan Bell is averaging 10.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per contest.

Bet on March Madness

Kansas has looked like the team to beat in this tournament through three rounds. The Jayhawks haven’t really been challenged and are really clicking on offense. While Oregon has been winning, the Ducks have been having to grind. The loss of Boucher should really be felt in this game, as Oregon is going to need to find a way to keep pace with this Kansas offense. I don’t think they can do that right now. The Jayhawks shouldn’t take a step back tonight and should be able to continue to surge with their transition scoring.

MARCH MADNESS PREDICTION: KANSAS -7
