According to oddsmakers, the Jayhawks are a 3.5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under sits at 133.5 points. As of Saturday morning, 66 percent of public bets are siding with visiting Kansas. Check out our College Basketball Public Betting Page for the latest info.

Jayhawks down Horned Frogs

Kansas earned a 75-66 home win Wednesday night over Texas Christian to improve to 27-3 overall and 16-1 in the Big 12 Conference. The Jayhawks outscored the Horned Frogs 40-29 in the second half after trailing by two at the break. Udoka Azubuike paced Kansas as he poured in 31 points on 13-of-14 shooting plus 5-of-13 at the free throw line. He also registered 14 rebounds and five blocked shots. Devon Dotson added 18 points, six boards, four steals and two assists.

Red Raiders drop third straight

Texas Tech lost 71-68 in overtime Monday night at Baylor to fall to 18-12 overall and 9-8 in conference action. The contest was tied 30-30 at halftime and 60-60 through regulation before the Red Raiders were outscored 11-8 by the Bears in the extra session. Kevin McCullar paced Texas Tech with 13 points on 4-of-4 shooting including 1-of-1 from 3-point range plus 4-of-4 at the charity stripe. He also grabbed three rebounds. Jahmius Ramsey tallied 13 points, five boards and two assists. Davide Moretti added 11 points and four dimes.

College Basketball Betting Trends

Kansas

The road team is 10-22 ATS in the last 32 meetings. The Jayhawks are 7-1 ATS in conference road games this season.

Texas Tech

The Red Raiders are 144-187 ATS as an underdog since 1997. Texas Tech is 3-2 ATS in the last five meetings.

Prediction:

Texas Tech will be heavily motivated here as it is on the NCAA Tournament bubble and squandered a chance earlier this week at previous top-ranked Baylor. Kansas is having a dynamite season, but on the road in a tough environment with an early start time certainly isn’t easy. The Jayhawks only defeated the Red Raiders 78-75 on their home court, so I feel good about getting on Texas Tech to get some revenge here or at least make it close enough to cover.
