Nae’Quan Tomlin chipped in 11 points (4-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and one assist over 24 minutes during Saturday’s 64-50 victory over Florida. Tomlin scored in double figures for the 12th time in his 21 starts this season. However, he’s only done so in two of the last seven games, as he’s only converted 40.7 percent of his 8.4 field-goal tries per game over this span. Tomlin is still producing an average of 6.1 boards during this stretch of so-so scoring, making him one of Kansas State’s more valuable fantasy options behind wing Keyontae Johnson and point guard Markquis Nowell.
Kansas Jayhawks DFS Spin
Kansas coach Bill Self said Monday that Zuby Ejiofor (foot) could be out 2-to-3 more weeks, Jordan Guskey of The Topeka Capital-Journal reports.Ejiofor was forced out of Saturday’s win against Kentucky with a left foot injury suffered during the first half. Self initially said Monday that the 6-foot-9 freshman could be out “for a while,” so this new timeline would likely set his earliest possible return as the Feb. 14 game against Oklahoma State. Ejiofor has averaged 1.4 points and 1.9 rebounds in 19 games off the bench this season.
