Kansas State Wildcats DFS Spin
Keyontae Johnson had 25 points (11-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound and four assists across 38 minutes during Tuesday’s 75-65 victory over Baylor. Johnson lived up to his status as one of the Big 12’s top players with a game-high 25 points. The Florida transfer has now put up eight 20-point performances this season, though this was just his second time doing so over the last ten games. Johnson is averaging 15.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists over this span despite playing along extremely high-usage point guard Markquis Nowell.
West Virginia Mountaineers DFS Spin
Joe Toussaint finished Monday’s 72-69 victory over Iowa State with 19 points (4-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 8-8 FT), seven rebounds and three assists over 24 minutes. Toussaint posted his best statistical outing since putting up 22-6-2 in the Jan. 25 win over Texas Tech. The senior reserve has not seen much of a consistent role throughout his first campaign with the Mountaineers, and that continued with his mere six field-goal attempts Monday. However, he cashed on his opportunities, matching his season high in three-pointers while also sending home all eight of his attempts from the charity stripe. Toussaint also posted a new season high in rebounds. Still, he’s unlikely to garner nearly as much production during West Virginia’s regular-season finale versus Kansas State on Saturday.
