Kansas Game Notes
Kansas junior forward Jalen Wilson is the straw that stirs the drink for the Jayhawks. Wilson leads the Big 12 in scoring with 20.7 points per game and rebounding with 8.5 boards per contest. Jalen Wilson has scored at least 16 points in 11 of Kansas’ last 13 games and he may need to do so again for the Jayhawks to win and cover on Saturday.
Oklahoma Game Notes
Oklahoma is led by senior guard Grant Sherfield. Sherfield played at both Wichita State and Nevada before landing in Norman, and he’s posting some of the best shooting numbers of his career this season. Grant Sherfield is making a career-high 43.1% of his three-pointers this year on 6 attempts per game. What’s more, Sherfield has made multiple three-pointers in 6 of the Sooners’ last 8 games. He’ll likely need to hit more than one trey for the Sooners to have a chance at covering Saturday.

Kansas vs. Oklahoma CBB Prediction:
Oklahoma has been struggling mightily in the last few weeks. The Sooners are 1-6 in their last 7 games and 5 of those losses came by 10 points or more. Oklahoma’s lone win in that stretch did come over #3 Alabama, but the Sooners shot 69.2% from the three-point line in that contest, and that type of number isn’t replicable in my opinion.
Kansas has regrouped after a three-game losing skid in mid-January. The Jayhawks have won 3 out of their last 4 contests with those three wins coming over Kentucky, Kansas State, and Texas. The latter two teams were ranked in the top 10 when the Jayhawks beat them. I think Kansas is the better team and they win this game by multiple possessions on Saturday.
CBB BETTING PREDICTION: KANSAS JAYHAWKS -3.5
