Kentucky still clear favorite to win NCAA Championship at Christmas break

LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – As the College Basketball Season takes a few days off for the holidays, the favorite to win the 2015 National Championship hasn’t budged since the season began.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Kentucky Wildcats are the clear favorite to win the Final Four this year, as they have 5/4 odds entering Christmas. The other short odds are Duke (15/2) and Arizona (9/1).

Kentucky is off to a 12-0 start to the season. The Wildcats are 10-0 at home and 2-0 on a neutral floor. Things could get more difficult from here as SEC play is set to begin and the Wildcats will have to begin playing regular road games.

Bet on 2015 Final Four Odds

Kentucky has went 7-5 against the spread this season while hitting the under in 10 of their 12 games. The strength of the team this year has been the Kentucky defense, as they are allowing just 47.7 points per game, which ranks second nationally. They are holding opponents to just 30 percent shooting, which is best in the nation. On offense, Kentucky is posting 76.8 points per game while shooting 47.5 percent from the floor.
