According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Miami is the slight favorite at home, as the Hurricanes are getting odds of -3 points against Louisville today. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 135.5 points.
Miami is 22-5 on the season, 11-4 in the ACC, 14-1 at home and 16-9-1 against the spread. Louisville is 22-6 overall, 11-4 in conference play, 4-5 on the road and 12-11-1 against the spread. These two haven’t met this season, but Louisville has won the last four meetings, going 3-1 against the spread in those games.

The spread in this game is somewhat surprising considering Miami has been so strong at home and Louisville so poor on the road. The Cardinals have dropped two of their last three on the road when they had a similar line to today’s game. The Hurricanes play great defense on their home floor, allowing just 62.7 points per game, which should help them keep the Cardinals in check. Miami remains in the ACC chase with a win, and I think they will get it by more than one possession.
