The Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament has a number of contenders. Here is a look at the odds to win this region.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kansas is the favorite in this region, as the Jayhawks are getting +200 odds. Other short odds to win are Louisville (+350), Oregon (+450) and Purdue (+600).

Kansas is the top seed in this region after going 28-4 on the season and winning the Big 12 Tournament. The Jayhawks are coming off a quick elimination in the Big 12 Tournament, but were without Josh Jackson, their talented freshman that was suspended for the game. Kansas last reached the Final Four in 2012 and it has made the Final Four 14 times in program history.

Louisville is the second seed in the Midwest. The Cardinals went 24-8 on the season and got an at-large bid. The Cardinals last reached the Final Four in 2013, when it won the NCAA Tournament. Louisville has reached the Final Four 10 times in program history.

Oregon is the third seed in the Midwest. The Ducks went 29-5 during the regular season and won a share of the Pac-12 regular-season title. The team suffered a big loss as Chris Boucher was injured during the conference tournament and will miss all of March Madness. Oregon hasn’t reached the Final Four since 1939, its only appearance.

Purdue is the fourth seed in this region. The Boilermakers won the Big Ten regular-season title and went 25-7 on the season. Purdue last reached the Final Four in 1980, only its second appearance.
