LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – Can anyone possibly unseat Kentucky in the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament? See what oddsmakers think.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kentucky is the clear favorite in this bracket, as it has 4/11 odds to reach the Final Four. Notre Dame and Wichita State come in with the next shortest odds at 9/1.
Kentucky is the top seed in the region after going a perfect 34-0 on the season. The Wildcats have reached the Final Four 16 times as a program, including last year.
Notre Dame is the third seed in this region and is 29-5 on the season. The Irish are coming off winning the ACC Tournament. ND has only appeared in the Final Four one time, which was back in 1978.
Wichita State is the seventh seed in this region despite going 28-4 on the year and winning the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title. Wichita State has reached the Final Four twice in program history, lasting doing so in 2013.
