According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, North Carolina is favored in this region, as the Tar Heels are getting odds of +135 to win. Other short odds to win are Kentucky (+220), UCLA (+400) and Butler (+900).

UNC is the top seed in the region. The Tar Heels are 27-7on the season and won the ACC regular-season title. UNC was runner-up in last year’s tournament and it has reached the Final Four 19 times in program history.
Kentucky is the second seed in this region. The Wildcats went 29-5 on the season and won the SEC regular-season and tournament title. UK has reached the Final Four 17 times, last doing so in 2015.
UCLA is the third seed in this region. The Bruins went 29-4 on the season and finished third in the Pac-12 standings. UCLA has reached the Final Four 18 times, last doing so in 2008.
Butler is fourth in the region. The Bulldogs are the fourth seed in this region. They went 23-8 during the season and finished second in the Big East, but they own two wins over Villanova this season. Butler reached the Final Four in 2010 and 2011.
