Maryland vs. Oregon Public Betting Information

Our CBB Public Betting Information page indicates that 78% of public bettors are currently backing Oregon when it comes to the spread. This information is subject to change throughout the day, however, so be sure to check the link so you’re receiving the most up-to-date public betting data.

Maryland Terrapins Game Notes

Terrapins forward Julian Reese was terrific in his team’s 75-69 loss to Washington on Thursday night. In that game, the 6’9” senior from Baltimore recorded 22 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and a blocked shot. Reese shot 9 of 12 from the floor and 4 of 6 from the foul line in the loss.

Maryland guard Selton Miguel also played well in his team’s game on Thursday. In 36 minutes, the South Florida transfer logged 12 points, 2 rebounds, a steal, and a made three-pointer. Miguel is fourth on the team in scoring with 12.1 points per game this season.

Oregon Ducks Game Notes

Ducks center Nate Bittle was solid in his team’s 109-77 loss to Illinois on Thursday night. The 7-footer from Central Point, OR registered 13 points, 5 rebounds, an assist, and 2 blocked shots. Bittle shot 5 of 10 from the floor and 1 of 3 from long distance in the defeat.

Oregon forward Supreme Cook was electric off the bench in his team’s game on Thursday. In 19 minutes, the Georgetown transfer accumulated 20 points, 2 rebounds, an assist, and 4 made free throws. Cook is averaging 7.7 points per contest while shooting 62.3% from the field this season.

Maryland is 4-3 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

The Terrapins are 18-11 ATS when playing an opponent on equal rest since the start of the 2022 season.

Oregon is 2-3 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Oregon is 20-27-1 ATS in conference games since the start of the 2022 season.

Maryland vs. Oregon CBB Prediction:

I like this spot for the Terps. Since the start of the 2022 season, Maryland is 31-21 ATS when playing on 2 or 3 days of rest and 18-12 ATS after a loss. The Terrapins last played on Thursday night against Washington and lost 75-69 in Seattle. They’ll stay out west to play Oregon on Sunday.

The Ducks got smoked in their last contest. Oregon hosted Illinois on Thursday night and got obliterated 109-77 by the Illini. The Ducks allowed 16 made three-pointers in that contest and only shot 43.5% from the field in the blowout loss. Now Oregon has to face a Maryland team that ranks fourth in the country in defensive efficiency this season. As the saying goes, defense travels. For that reason, among others, I like the Terps to cover this contest in Eugene on Sunday afternoon.

Maryland vs. Oregon CBB Prediction: MARYLAND TERRAPINS +4.5
