Memphis Tigers DFS Spin
Kendric Davis will not return to Thursday’s game versus UCF after suffering an apparent ankle injury in the first half, Jason Munz of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports. Davis hit the floor hard following a play and immediately grabbed at his right ankle and needed help getting off the floor. The 6-0 senior led all Memphis scorers with 10 points at the half and would eventually return to the bench area with crutches. The significance of his injury will not be known until later and it couldn’t have come at a more inopportune time with the Tigers set to face No. 2 Houston on Sunday. A clearer timeline for a potential return should be available once an official prognosis is given.
