Jalen Duren suffered a wrist injury in Saturday’s game against SMU, according to Jason Munz of The Memphis Commercial Appeal. Duren left the game during the second half and then returned spotting tape in his left wrist. Given the fact that he returned to the contest, his injury shouldn’t be severe, something that should be huge for Memphis with the NCAA Tournament starting next week.
Houston Cougars DFS Snapshot
Coach Kelvin Sampson indicated after Saturday’s game that Fabian White was dealing ith back tightness and his status is unclear for Sunday’s AAC tournament championship game, Keith Jenkins of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. White logged just three minutes prior to his exit from Saturday’s game and was unable to return because of the back tightness. With the Cougars locked into the NCAA Tournament next week, the staff will likely take a cautious approach with the senior to make sure he’s healthy when it fires up next week.
