According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Hurricanes are 2.5-point favorites versus the Blue Devils for tonight’s game. Duke enters play with a 15-5 record and is 9-9 against the spread, while Miami is 15-3 overall and a profitable 10-6 at the betting window.

Speaking of profitability, the Hurricanes are 6-2-1 against the spread at home this season, winning by an average margin of 15.5 points in those nine games. While they haven’t covered in four-straight games, the Canes did push as a 14-point favorite versus Wake Forest in a 77-63 win on Saturday at home. The three previous failed covers all came on the road.

As for Duke, this is the first time all season that the Blue Devils will be underdogs. They have not fared well in their previous 12 meetings with the Canes, posting a 2-8-2 record against the spread in those contests. That said, the road team is an impressive 8-1-1 against the spread in the last 10 meetings between these two teams.
