Miami Hurricanes Notes
Isaiah Wong closed Friday’s 89-75 win over Houston with 20 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 9-11 FT), six rebounds and three assists over 33 minutes. Wong was one of two starters that reached the 20-point mark Friday, with Nijel Pack being the other. Wong, one of the most experienced players on the Miami roster, is averaging 17.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in the Tournament ahead of an Elite Eight matchup against Texas on Sunday.
Texas Longhorns Notes
Dylan Disu (foot) will be a game-time decision ahead of Sunday’s contest against Miami, Myron Medcalf of ESPN.com reports. The 6-foot-9 center had to exit Friday’s Sweet 16 matchup with Xavier after suffering a foot injury which later led to him wearing a walking boot. This would be a massive loss for Texas as the senior is averaging 21 points and 8.7 rebounds this tournament. Disu will be a game-time decision ahead of Sunday’s matchup against Miami.

Miami vs. Texas CBB Prediction:
The potential loss of Disu is huge for Texas and while many college basketball fans and pundits had Miami going out in the first round, the ‘Canes have proven to be a reliant group. Will they win? Perhaps not, but I see this coming down to the wire. The Hurricanes are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven NCAA tournament games, are 4-1 against the umber in their last five games coming off an ATS win and are 9-3 at the betting window in their last 12 games when facing an opponent with a winning record. Miami is also 37-16-1 ATS in its last 54 games when facing a foe with a winning percentage above .600.
