Michigan tries to rebuild
ANN ARBOR, MI (TheSpread) – After dealing with a lot of roster turnover in this offseason, John Beilein is adding to Michigan’s recruiting class for next season.
It was announced this weekend that Michigan signed Aubrey Dawkins to next fall’s incoming class. Dawkins is a 6-6 guard and the son of Stanford coach Johnny Dawkins. He will help Michigan build some depth after the loss of so much talent these last few seasons.
Following a Big Ten championship season this past year, Michigan saw Nik Stauskas, Glenn Robinson III and Mitch McGary all declare for the NBA Draft and forward Jon Horford transfer to Florida.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Michigan now has 33/1 odds to win the NCAA Tournament in 2015. Oddsmakers see Kentucky as the favorite to win it all next season, with 5/1 odds. Duke is the next favorite at 10/1.
